Volunteers
Volunteers are an important part of making summer camp happen! Whether you’re helping in the kitchen, driving boats, working around the grounds, or simply showing up ready to lend a hand, there’s always a place for you to serve.
No matter your skills or experience, we’d love to have you join us and be part of what God is doing at GSBC this summer.
Cabin Leader
A cabin leader’s primary role is to build relationships with campers and encourage them in their faith. You’ll care for a cabin of 8–12 campers each week while joining them in games, skills, chapel, and other camp activities.
Senior Leaders must be at least 18 years old.
OTHER
There are so many other ways to volunteer at GSBC; we would LOVE your help this summer! You can volunteer as an individual or group! Contact the office if you would like to volunteer in a particular area not listed.
Volunteer Checklist
Here is a checklist of what needs to be done in order to volunteer at GSBC:

Fill out the volunteer application and email it to office@gsbcamp.ca

Submit a criminal record check (available from your local RCMP detachment)

Make a copy of your Pleasurecraft Operator’s Card (boat drivers only)
Overnight accommodations may be available for anyone wishing to volunteer for a couple of days or more.
